Commissioner Davis asked if Mr . Kamm would like to be invited to our , MPO and Mr . <br /> Kamm advised that he thought it could be worked out at staff level and that he had: been speaking <br /> with MPO Staff Director Phil Matson and they are looking for an interlocal agreement between <br /> Brevard County and Indian River County . <br /> Mr . Kamm spoke of help needed from FDOT on cooperation between Districts 4 <br /> and 5 . <br /> Be INDIANRIVER COUNTY <br /> Community Development Director Bob Keating agreed with Mr . Kamm . He used <br /> a PowerPoint outline (filed with the backup in the Clerk ' s Office) to focus his presentation and <br /> explained concepts under consideration . He advised the requirements under our TRIP <br /> (Transportation Regional Incentive Program) , stressed that FDOT (Florida Department of <br /> Transportation) has new funding priorities . He agreed there is a huge gap between coordination <br /> of transportation between Districts 4 and 5 and supported Director Kann ' s suggestion to work <br /> together on the roadways we share . He advised that our long-range transportation plan (LRTP) <br /> is underway as part of the regional study with Martin and St . Lucie Counties . The : Board will be <br /> asked to adopt the County ' s LRTP by the end of the year . <br /> 7 . IMPACT FEES - GAS TAX <br /> A . BREVARD COUNTY <br /> Transportation Engineering Director John Denninghoff listed Brevlard County ' s <br /> impact fees and advised that Melbourne and Palm Bay are working independently ', on their own <br /> impact fees . It is important to understand that most of the growth is occurring in the south <br /> portion of the county and in Palm Bay . Funds collected within districts have to be spent within <br /> -those districts and within a 7 - year period .
