County Administrator Baird discussed transportation issues of veterans for medical <br /> care due to regional differences . <br /> A . BREVARD COUNTY <br /> Transit Services Director Jim Leisenfelt advised he was open to cooperation . He <br /> inquired about transportation possibilities for shoppers in south Brevard to go to Sebastian ' s <br /> Wal - Mart and users of medical services in Sebastian because it was closer to them than Palm <br /> Bay . A rider survey was undertaken some time ago but he agreed another could ', be done when <br /> suggested by Chairperson Pritchard . <br /> B. INDIANRIVER COUNTY <br /> Community Development Director Bob Keating used another PowerPoint <br /> document ( copy on file with the backup in the Clerk ' s office) in his presentation of this topic . <br /> He explained the existing transit service routes and improvements that have been made since <br /> 2002 . He showed charts of the ridership trend and ridership by routes . Route 5 is the route that <br /> serves the north portion of Indian River County and according to the statistics with only 8 riders <br /> per revenue mile it is below the threshold for financial feasibility . <br /> 11 . LIBRARY INTERLOCAL AGREEMENTS <br /> A .
