SECTION 01300 - SUBMITTALS <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1 . 01 GENERAL <br /> The provisions of this section apply to required submittals , related to units of work, not to <br /> administrative submittals such as payment requests, insurance certificates and progress <br /> reports . In addition to specific provisions of General and Supplementary Conditions <br /> related to submittals, individual specification sections of Divisions 2 through 16 contain <br /> submittal requirements , specific requirements in other sections have precedence over <br /> general requirements of this section. <br /> . PART2 - PRODUCTS <br /> 2 . 01 PROCEDURAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. General : Coordinate submittals with progress schedule and actual progress of work; <br /> allow ten ( 10) working days for Architect ' s and Engineer ' s processing of submittals <br /> requiring review and approval . Use transmittal form to establish complete record or <br /> submittals . Provide copies required by governing authorities, which are in addition to <br /> copies specified for submittal to the Architect. <br /> B . Shop drawings : shall be submitted for manufactured or fabricated materials as called <br /> for in the separate specification section. Drawings shall be fully identifiable with <br /> project name, location, supplier ' s name, date, drawing number, specifications section <br /> reference, etc. . . The Contractor shall submit, with such promptness as to cause no <br /> delay in his work or in that of any Subcontractor, five (5) copies of all shop drawings <br /> and schedules required for the work of the various trades to the Architect for approval <br /> with one copy of the shop drawings to the Owner' s representative for review and <br /> comment. The Contractor shall make no deviation from the approved shop drawings <br /> and/or the changes made thereto by the Architect if any . Additional prints, as may be <br /> required by the Contractor or a Subcontractor, shall be supplied by the Contractor. <br /> C . It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to properly schedule the submission of <br /> shop drawings for approval, to allow adequate time for the checking of drawings , <br /> manufacturer/fabrication of items , and the shipment of items to the job site in <br /> sufficient time so as to prevent any delay in the Progress Schedule . <br /> D . It shall also be the responsibility of the Contractor to coordinate the preparation of <br /> shop drawings of those items which will be furnished by more than one manufacturer, <br /> but are designed to interface with the overall project when installed . <br /> E . Shop Drawings submitted to the Architect for his approval shall first show evidence of <br /> being checked by the Contractor, the prima- facie evidence of which shall be a <br /> " CHECKED" stamp marked "APPROVED" or "APPROVED AS NOTED" on each <br /> 01300- 1 <br />
