Driveway Bore : Measurement for payment for driveway bore shall be per <br /> linear foot. Measurement of Driveway Bore shall include equipment , <br /> supplies , fuel , labor, sheeting and bracing , excavation , dewatering , <br /> backfilling , compaction , mechanical fittings , restoration , furnishing and <br /> installing pipe . Measurement of Driveway Bore does not include the <br /> actual pipe installed . Installed pipe quantities for driveway bores are <br /> covered in Section 1 . 03 . 13 , <br /> I . Concrete Sidewalk and Driveway Replacement : Measurement of concrete <br /> for sidewalk and driveway replacement shall be computed using the linear <br /> feet, as measured along the pipe , or sidewalk and/or driveway removed and <br /> replaced on a square yard basis as a result of Contractor's operations . <br /> Minimum widths of replacement shall be as described in specifications or as <br /> shown on the plans . No separate payment will be made for saw cutting , <br /> excavation , formwork , reinforcing , or other work or materials required in <br /> connection with concrete construction . <br /> J . Concrete Encasement: Measurement of concrete for encasement shall be on <br /> the basis of the number of cubic yards of concrete installed , except that the <br /> maximum allowable quantity of concrete installed shall not exceed the values <br /> given below: <br /> • Pipe Size ( Inches ) Max. Asphaltic Pavement Replacement: Measurement of asphalt pavement <br /> replacement shall be computed using the linear feet as measured along the <br /> pipe of asphalt removed and replaced as a result of Contractor' s operations . <br /> Minimum width of replacement shall be as described in the specifications or <br /> as shown on the plans . Unit price shall include saw cutting , base and <br /> subgrade materials , compaction , etc. <br /> L . Grassing : Measurement of grassing (seed or sod ) shall be computed using <br /> the linear feet, as measured along the water main pipe , or grassed area <br /> disturbed and restored on a square yard basis as a result of Contractor's <br /> operations . The entire width of the disturbed area shall be grassed . <br /> Payment shall include all necessary grading , soil preparation , seeding , <br /> sodding , fertilizer, mulch , and irrigation .
