Amendment No. 3 to <br /> 43`d Avenue Roadway and Drainage Improvements <br /> Professional Engineering Services Agreement <br /> design from 8`h to 121h Streets utilizing the Unity Church pond, and from 16`h <br /> to 18`h Streets utilizing the Carolina Trace Townhomes pond, as per the <br /> existing developer' s agreements with those two property owners . The <br /> ENGINEER will revise the stormwater management calculations and report <br /> to properly describe the revised scope of the stormwater management system. <br /> 6. Landscaping: The ENGINEER (through a sub-consultant) will revise the <br /> previously prepared landscape plans to add landscaping with canopy trees <br /> and shrubs in mulched beds (no sod) and a new irrigation system in the <br /> median. The ENGINEER will preserve the previously designed road-side <br /> landscaping from 8th to 18`h Streets. <br /> C. Final ( 100% Design) Plans <br /> The ENGINEER will prepare and submit final (100% design) plans to the COUNTY <br /> for review and comment. The COUNTY will provide review comments in writing to <br /> the ENGINEER. The ENGINEER will meet with the COUNTY to discuss the <br /> COUNTY' S review comments (if required) and the ENGINEER will provide written <br /> responses to the COUNTY' S comments. The ENGINEER will incorporate the <br /> COUNTY' S review comments into the design drawings, where applicable. The final <br /> plans will be prepared to include: <br /> 1 . Cross-Sections : The ENGINEER will revise the previously prepared cross- <br /> sections every 100 feet of the project length. Cut and fill calculations will be <br /> based on the new typical section. <br /> 2. Maintenance of Traffic / Construction Phasing: The ENGINEER will <br /> provide general notes to describe the general requirements for the <br /> contractor' s maintenance of traffic operations. The contractor will be <br /> required to submit construction phasing / maintenance of traffic plans to the <br /> COUNTY for approval . <br /> 3 . Sedimentation & Erosion Control Plans : The ENGINEER will provide <br /> sedimentation and erosion control plans and a Stormwater Pollution <br /> Prevention Plan, as required for NPDES permitting by the contractor. <br /> 4. Computation Notes : The ENGINEER will provide computation notes for <br /> quantities of major elements of the construction (e. g. asphalt, base, sod, turn - <br /> outs) from station to station to assist the COUNTY in verifying the <br /> contractor' s applications for payment during the construction of the project. <br /> 5 . Miscellaneous Sheets : In addition to the drawings already mentioned above, <br /> the ENGINEER will provide the following miscellaneous drawings : <br /> a. Cover Sheet <br /> b . Horizontal Survey Control and Overall Profile <br /> C . Drainage Basin Map <br /> Page 3 of 8 <br />
