Summary of Drainage Structures <br /> g. Intersection Profiles <br /> It. Miscellaneous Details <br /> i . Cut and Fill Estimates <br /> D . Permitting <br /> The ENGINEER will prepare and submit applications for permit modifications with <br /> the Indian River Farms Water Control District and the St. Johns River Water <br /> Management District for construction of the proposed project. The ENGINEER will <br /> prepare the applications for signature by the COUNTY and will provide the <br /> necessary exhibits, including permit sketches, construction drawings and calculations <br /> as required for the permit modification applications. The COUNTY will provide the <br /> application fees as required for the permit modification application submittals . <br /> E. Cost Estimates <br /> The ENGINEER will provide an opinion of probable construction costs with the <br /> 60% plan submittal, and will update that estimate with the 100% plan submittal . <br /> F. Contract Documents <br /> The ENGINEER will prepare and submit contract documents (plans and technical <br /> specifications) to the COUNTY for inclusion with the County' s bid documents. The <br /> COUNTY will assemble the "front ends", advertise, receive bids, and award the <br /> contract for construction. <br /> G. Construction Phase Assistance <br /> The ENGINEER will provide construction phase assistance services as follows : <br /> 1 . Pre-Bid : Attend a pre-bid meeting and respond to potential bidders <br /> questions during the bidding period with clarifications. <br /> 2 . Bid Evaluation : Assist the COUNTY in evaluating the bids receive and <br /> provide a recommendation for award based on the engineering <br /> considerations. <br /> 3 . Meetings : Attend a pre-construction meeting and periodic job progress <br /> meetings to answer questions and share/request information as a member of <br /> the project "team" (40 meetings total based on 18 months of active <br /> construction). <br /> 4. Site Visits : Conduct periodic visits to the site as necessary to observe the <br /> progress of the work to determine in general if the executed work is <br /> proceeding in accordance with the Contract Documents and permit <br /> conditions, for the purpose of providing final certifications upon completion <br /> Page 4 of 8 <br />
