the middle of the causeway for the new watermain and forcemain. <br /> Task 5.0 - Environmental Permitting <br /> No change to the previously approved Work Order and Amendment one for this task. This task is <br /> complete. <br /> Task 6.0 - Permitting and Agency Coordination <br /> No change to the previously approved Work Order for this task. This task is complete . <br /> Task 7.0 — Construction Permitting <br /> The previously approved Work Order and Amendment one for this task is amended as follows . <br /> The general permit for the original forcemain design has been issued. This general permit does not allow <br /> for deviations to the construction similar to this reconfiguration. Therefore, a new general permit for the <br /> forcemain is required for this change in the original design. <br /> The Consultant will prepare and submit the construction general permit application required through the <br /> Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) for the forcemain construction on the FDEP <br /> form 62-604. 300(8)(x) . The Consultant will pay the $250 application fee to the FDEP . Construction <br /> drawings will be submitted as part of the permit application. Consultant will respond to reasonable <br /> comments from the FDEP during the 30-day permit processing period. <br /> The Consultant will pay the $500 specific permit application fees for each of the required FEDP specific <br /> permits for the watermain construction, along with the preparation and submittal of the information <br /> required in F.A. C . rule 62-555 -520(4). <br /> Task 8.0 — Construction Phase Services <br /> The previously approved Work Order and Amendment one for this task is amended as follows. <br /> The Consultant will provide oversight of the installation of the installation of the underground installation <br /> of the new watermain the existing 12-inch forcemain piping for the following additional services, as part <br /> of this Amendment and revised design. <br /> The original scope of services for construction observations was based on the installation of three parallel <br /> pipes with two drill rigs operating simultaneously. The contract documents will be revised to allow the <br /> contractor to construct the project with one drill rig, instead of two, as originally specified. The contract <br /> construction duration of 10-months will be increased to 12-months for the additional watermain <br /> construction. This will result in the two additional months of construction observations as provided in the <br /> original scope of services for the eight directional drills. <br /> The Consultant will make up to two (2) revisions to the IRCU' s contract documents prior to bidding this <br /> project. Any additional revisions to the IRCU' s contract documents during the construction phase can be <br /> provided by the Consultant, as Additional Services. <br /> The Consultant's visits will be for the purpose of endeavoring to provide IRCU a greater degree of <br /> confidence that the completed work of its contractors will generally conform to the construction <br /> documents prepared by the Consultant. The Consultant neither guarantees the performance of <br /> contractors, nor assumes responsibility for any contractor' s failure to perform its work in accordance with <br /> the contract documents. Work that the Consultant believes does not comply with the contract documents <br /> will be brought to the attention of IRCU and the contractor.
