221 +00, as referenced from the baseline of construction for 58'" Ave., and from Station
750+00 to Station 767+87.50 as referenced from the baseline of construction for SR-5 (US- 1 ).
Additional design services will include the following tasks:
a. Perform the horizontal and vertical location design of the proposed 8-inch water main and
6-inch sanitary sewer force main stub-outs at approximately 1 ,000 foot intervals from
Station 281 +26.74 to Station 362+58.28, as referenced from the baseline of construction
for CR-510, from Station 204+40 to Station 221 +00, as referenced from the baseline of
construction for 58'" Ave., and from Station 750+00 to Station 767+87.50, as referenced
from the baseline of construction for SR-5 (US- 1 ). Stub-outs will be designed to extend
beyond both sides of the proposed roadway. Connections to the existing mains will be
proposed to be made via wet tapping methods.
b. The ENGINEER shall identify potential utility conflicts. The existing utilities at these
conflict points will be located vertically and horizontally, as discussed in the Utility
Subsurface Locates item #4 below. This information will be used for design purposes to
provide the minimum vertical clearances, as required by the Department of
Environmental Protection.
c. The ENGINEER shall prepare Utility Improvement Plan and Profile Sheets at a F'=40'
scale to show location of the proposed stub-outs. Note: The Utility Improvement Plans
will also be used to show all other existing utility adjustments and proposed utility
additions.
d. The ENGINEER will coordinate with utility owners to minimize relocations.
e. The ENGINEER will prepare FDEP permit application "Notice of Intent to use the
General Permit for Construction of Water Main Extensions for PWSs" and support data
for signature by the COUNTY, and submit package to FDEP for processing.
f The ENGINEER will prepare FDEP permit application "Notification/Application for
Constructing a Domestic Wastewater Collection/Transmission System" and support data
for signature by the COUNTY and submit package to FDEP for processing.
g. The ENGINEER will process Request for Information (RFI) comments from FDEP one
time for each permit application and provide additional data as requested with assistance
from the COUNTY, as required.
h. Permit application fees are not included and shall be paid by the COUNTY.
i . It is assumed that the proposed reclaimed water mains will not be adding any additional
users to this main at this time (an additional user is utilizing 100,000 gpd or more of
reclaimed water). Therefore, FDEP permit applications for the reclaimed water mains are
not included as part of this scope of work.
5
