Ezell <br />Pursuant to the foregoing petition and upon Motion made by Commissioner Robert <br />Graves, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, the Board directed that a <br />Notice be published to close and abandon said canals, ditches and road right of ways. <br />The County Attorney read the recommendations of the County Planning and Zoning <br />Commission pertaining to the setting up of a new zoning District to be known as R -2-A; that <br />Oceanaire Heights S/D be changed from R-1 Single Family District to the new proposed R -2-A <br />Multi -Family District; Zoning Regulations be amended by striking from Section 9 F-1 Agricul- <br />tural District all of Paragraph E but adding to the end of Section 3. R -1-A County Home <br />District, Paragraph 4, the following: Provided, however, that ranches for the commercial <br />�I raising of cattle is permitted, provided no buildings or pens pertaining to the raising of <br />cattle are constructed within 150 feet of the property line; and the further recommendation <br />that the area South of a line 150 feet North of Glendale and 150 feet East of the Old Dixie <br />Highway and North of the South Relief Canal and West of the Fla. East Coast RR, be changed <br />from R-1 Single Family to M-1 Industrial District. After some discussion and upon Motion made <br />by Commissioner Robert Graves, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, <br />the board tentatively approves the recommendations of the Zoning Commission and orders Notice <br />be published. <br />ti <br />Mr. Schmucker stated he had been out to Mr. Weaver's Subdivision and that the under- <br />brush which Mr. Weaver was objecting to were the palmettos on the canal bank in the Drainage <br />District right of way and that he had so informed Mr. Weaver. <br />A deed from Tropicolony, Inc. to the County covering land for part purposes was pre - <br />sented to the Board and upon Motion made by Commissioner W. C. Graves, Jr., seconded by Comm- <br />issioner Hamilton and unanimously carried, the Board accepted said deed and ordered the Cirk <br />to put same on record. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner W. C. Graves, Jr., seconded by Commissioner Hamil <br />and carried, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />R E S O L U T I O N -- Regulating the Subdivision of <br />lands in Indian River County <br />A RESOLUTION REGULATING THE SUBDIVISION OF LANDS IN INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, WHICH LIE OUTSIDE THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF ANY <br />MUNICIPALITY; REQUIRING AND REGULATING THE PREPARATION AND <br />PRESENTATION OF PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLATS FOR SUCH PURPOSES; <br />ESTABLISHING MINIMUM SUBDIVISION DESIGN STANDARDS; PROVIDING <br />MINIMUM IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE OR GUARANTEED TO BE MADE BY THE <br />SUBDIVIDER; SETTING FORTH THE PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED IN APPLYING <br />THESE RULES, REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR <br />THE VIOLATION OF THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING SEPARABILITY AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />0 <br />
