Brown Construction Company, Inc <br /> Architect: Clemons Rutherford & Associates, Inc <br /> Original Substantial Completion 6/2512007 <br /> New Substantial Completion 9/10/2007 <br /> SUMMARY : <br /> TOTAL DAYS IMPACTED: 77 Original Substantial Completion date for Infirmary Building was June 25, 2007 <br /> now Substantial Completion Scheduled for September 10, 2007 Due to <br /> weather conditions, which were believed could be overcome, and unforeseen <br /> existing conditions and utilities, in which additional work was required, the <br /> project experienced unfortunate and unavoidable delays . <br /> December- 06 <br /> DAYS IMPACTED: 1 <br /> WEATHER: 0 <br /> 0 <br /> UNFORESEEN CONDITIONS: 1 Existing sanitary manhole covered by soil and not located indicated Had to <br /> hand dig to locate . <br /> January- 07 <br /> DAYS IMPACTED: 12 <br /> WEATHER: 2 Days of rain greater than 1/4 inch Delayed Demolition, Building Pad and <br /> Footings <br /> 0 Days of recovery due to heavy amounts of rain <br /> UNFORESEEN CONDITIONS: 4 Existing sanitary lines within building slab area required survey to determine <br /> pipe slope and direction routed under existing building to determine final routing . <br /> 6 Planned routing of sanitary lines outside of building slab conflicted with existing <br /> sign, sidewalk and trees Required aftemate routing be engineered and <br /> submitted . Modified route required adjustments to manhole. Continued into <br /> February. <br /> Page 6 of 8 <br />
