(See individual funder requirements for <br /> inclusion of collaborative agreement letters. <br /> Collaborative ency Resources provided to the program <br /> Parent/Teacher Education Partnership 1 . Parent education classes are offered to families in <br /> of Indian River County, consisting of participating agencies and to the community at large. <br /> Childcare Resources, Early Learning Combined resources allow PTEP to provide high quality <br /> Coalition, FDLRS, Head Start, programming. <br /> RCMA, IRC School District, and 2. PTEP provides a forum in which members share <br /> United Way of Indian River County. pertinent information regarding families moving from <br /> program to program within the partnership. Early <br /> childhood research, innovative new programs, etc. are <br /> also shared. <br /> 3. PTEP is a liaison between the county' s childcare <br /> providers, helping centers remain abreast of "best <br /> practices" in early childhood education. <br /> Community Church Partner's Childcare Resources and the Partner's Program work in <br /> Program collaboration to assist families in setting and attaining <br /> family goals fora period of six months to a year. <br /> Indian River School System The school system tracks Childcare Resources children <br /> through their database (promotion rate, school <br /> readiness). <br /> Early Learning Coalition of Indian Executive Director serves on the Indian River County <br /> River, Martin and Okeechobee Advisory Board for Early Learning Coalition. The <br /> Counties. exchange of information goes both ways and is helpful <br /> to both organizations. <br /> Literacy Services of Indian River Co.; Joint reading workshops for parents and children, books <br /> Big Brothers, Big Sisters; Youth for children <br /> Volunteer Corp. ; Homeless Family <br /> Center <br /> United Way Success By Six The Executive Director serves on the Success By Six <br /> Committee Committee.
