make policy. Decision making rests entirely with The Board . The Advisory Committee <br /> shall be made up of active persons from the community who are not able to sit on The <br /> Board, but are willing to provide their time and expertise to The Board in a smaller <br /> capacity. Advisory Committee members are a resource for The Board to draw from in <br /> such areas as programs, fundraising and public relations . <br /> B . Executive Committee. The Executive committee shall be comprised of the officers of <br /> The Board of Community Child Care Resources, Inc . The Executive Committee shall <br /> meet prior to each monthly ( eliminate) Board of Directors meeting to establish Board <br /> meeting agendas, review all current Board issues and make recommendations to The <br /> Board at the regular monthly meeting . Executive Committee duties shall include but <br /> not be limited to duties such as establishing and/or reviewing : annual budget, contracts, <br /> committees, financial decisions, personnel policy, and potential board members . The <br /> Executive Director and the Family Resource Coordinator shall be hired by the <br /> Executive Committee. <br /> C . Administration and Finance Committee. The Administration and Finance <br /> Committee shall be composed of members from The Board. They shall be appointed by <br /> the President of The Board and shall include the Treasurer. This committee shall <br /> include but not be limited to supervising all financial activities, the budget, investments, <br /> acquisitions, capital expenditures, staff salaries and benefits, insurance coverage, fee <br /> schedules, contracts, retirement; to develop the operating budget with the assistance of <br /> the Administrative Coordinator, amend it as necessary and recommend it for approval <br /> to The Board. The Administration and Finance Committee shall also be responsible for <br /> updating and maintaining the Bylaws. <br /> E . D . Development Committee. The Development Committee shall be composed of <br /> members of The Board and others deemed appropriate by the committee . This <br /> committee shall include but not be limited to providing leadership in planning, <br /> supervising and managing all fund raising activities, i . e . annual, capital and endowment <br /> giving; to supervise the cultivation and renewal of support for CCCR; to consult closely <br /> with the Administration and Finance Committee to ascertain the funding needs on both <br /> short and long-term basis. <br /> 1 . Public Awareness Committee. The Public Awareness Committee shall <br /> function as part of the Development Committee and shall be composed <br /> of members from The Board and others deemed appropriate by the <br /> committee. . . The Public Awareness Committee shall be charged with the <br /> responsibilities of insuring that the uppermost level of public relations is <br /> maintained at all times concerning CCCR.
