WHEREAS, said items mentioned are a part of the same fund and <br />the transfer from one item to another item in the same fund and is not <br />a transfer from one fund to another fund; therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED that there is herewith transferred the sum of <br />$3,000.00 from some items where there is a surplus to the items where <br />there is a deficiency, according to detailed statement attached, all in' <br />the Road & Bridge Fund of the current budget of Indian River County as <br />provided by law. <br />Item to Item Transfers <br />EXP NJITiJI:LS <br />TRANS: ERS <br />A/C _ Name To F rom <br />431. Road, Bridge & Culvert $8,000.00 <br />Reserve for Contingencies <br />$8,000.00 <br />Mr. Schmucker stated he needed a 40 foot right of way at the corner <br />of U. S. #1 and 12th Street and would like to offer the owner, Mrs. Baumker <br />an amount up to $1,000.00. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded <br />by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, the Board approved the <br />purchasing of the required right of way from Mrs. Baumker for $1,000.00. <br />The County Engineer stated he would like to make a trade with Mr. <br />Huffmaster for a 50 foot right of way for Oslo road by giving Mr. Huffmaster <br />some 75 loads of fill dirt. He further stated they would just dump the fill <br />and Mr. Huffmaster would spread it. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Waddell, <br />seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, the Board approves <br />the request of the County Engineer to trade 75 loads of fill dirt for a <br />50 foot right of way for Oslo Road with Mr. Huffmaster. <br />The County Engineer sta ted that Mrs. Scarborough turned down the county's <br />offer of $100.00 for a right of way on 12th Street. The Board requested the <br />County Engineer contact Mrs. Scarborough and see would amount she will take <br />for the required right of way. <br />The Engineer stated he would like to destroy the houses on SRD 17 and <br />22. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hamilton and unanimously carried, the County Engineer is authorized to destroy <br />the houses on SRD 17 and 22 on U. S. #1 right of way. <br />
