<br />newspaper published at Vero Beach in Indian River County, Florida; that the attached
<br />copy of advertisement, being a

<br />Affiant further says that the said Vero Beach Press -Journal is a newspaper published at
<br />Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida, and that the said newspaper has heretofore
<br />been continuously published in said Indian River County, Florida, weekly and has been entered
<br />as second class mail matter at the post office in Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida,
<br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of advertisement;
<br />and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or corporation
<br />any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this advertisement for
<br />publication in the said newspaper.

<br />Notice is hereby given that LEON
<br />J. DEMING and LOLA FAYE
<br />DEMING, his wife, and WALTER
<br />NIELSEN and MARION NIELSEN,
<br />his wife, filed a Petition with the
<br />Board of County Commissioners of
<br />Indian River County, Florida, re-
<br />questing said Board , to adopt a
<br />Resolution closing, vacating and
<br />abolishing that part of the public
<br />road, street and right-of-way lying
<br />between the Indian River and Lots
<br />201 to 203 inclusive, of the Plat of
<br />Orchid Island Unit No. 1, as re-
<br />corded in Plat Book 4, page 3, In-
<br />dian River County records, and also
<br />requesting said Board to renounce
<br />and disclaim any right of said
<br />County and the public in and to that
<br />part of the above-described public
<br />road and right_of-way as delineated
<br />on said recorded Plat.
<br />Said Board will hold a public
<br />hearing thereon at 9:30 o'clock
<br />A. M. on January 24, 1961, in the
<br />offices of said Board, Indian River
<br />County Courthouse, Vero Beach,
<br />Florida.
<br />Persons interested may appear
<br />and be heard at that time.

<br />Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried,
