and procedures may result in disciplinary actions pursuant to the above cited rules and <br /> regulations. <br /> 9 .02 The Employer has the right to reprimand, discharge or otherwise discipline employees for just <br /> cause. <br /> 9. 03 New or revised rules implemented within the Emergency Services Department, and any <br /> changes in the District Personnel Rules and Regulations or the District Standard Operating <br /> Procedures, except in the case of any emergency, shall be posted on all bulletin boards at least <br /> two (2) weeks prior to their effective date. If the Union disagrees with a new rule or <br /> procedure, it may request a meeting with the Fire Chief to reach a mutual agreement, failing <br /> which a grievance may be filed with the Director of Emergency Services (Step 3 ) . The new <br /> rule will not go into effect until the grievance or appeal has been resolved. <br /> 9 . 04 It shall be the Employer's duty to see that all bargaining unit members are issued a current set <br /> of the applicable Rules and Regulations and Standard Operating Procedures and future <br /> amendments.
