E. Employees who attend court for only a portion of a regularly scheduled work <br />day are required to report to their supervisor within a reasonable period of <br />time of being excused or released (other than for the night) by court. The <br />failure to so report will be cause for disciplinary action, including termination <br />of employment. <br />F. Employees who attend court on behalf of the County, while on scheduled <br />vacation, may be allowed to take additional leave with pay for the court time. <br />G. In the event a holiday occurs during the period of an employee's jury duty, he <br />or she shall receive pay for the holiday. <br />H. All court attendance must be verified before an employee shall be <br />compensated. Monies received from court appearances will be turned over to <br />the Employer. <br />51 <br />
