Mr . Terry Southard
16 December 2008
Page 6
• one general cross- section illustrating the site- specific stratigraphy ;
• a map showing the approximate location(s) of identified water supply well(s) in relation
to the facility as identified during the well survey ;
• scaled site maps illustrating the water- level elevations calculated at each monitoring
point , and an interpretation of groundwater flow direction ; and
• one or more scaled site maps showing sampling locations, and an illustration of the
degree and extent of groundwater contamination .
A draft of this report in PDF form will be prepared for your review prior to submission to the
FDEP . Two signed and sealed copies of the final SAR will be produced for the FDEP and IRC .
Additionally, an electronic copy (PDF) of the final SAR will be provided to IRC on a CD .
ASSUMPTIONS
In addition to the above , the following assumptions were made in developing this scope and cost
estimate :
• Geosyntec assumes that IRC site personnel will provide support in regards to the
identification of potential underground utilities and clearing proposed well locations (the
area the FDEP has requested additional wells may be in close vicinity to site structures) .
Please note that this budget assumes that all drilling locations will be cleared by IRC
personnel prior to Geosyntec ' s arrival .
• IRC will provide a CAD map(s) which provide property boundaries , show the location
and identification of site structures and the locations of underground utilities .
• Site access will not be restricted to Geosyntec and can be obtained by Geosyntec
immediately upon receipt of your Notice to Proceed .
• Geosyntec will be able to work unimpeded between Monday and Friday from 7 am - 7
pm .
• No clearing of vegetation will be necessary and track-mounted drill rig access is available
to each location designated for investigation .
• The groundwater table will be encountered at approximately 3 - 5 ft below land surface
and is accessible with a drill rig .
• Water and electricity are available for Geosyntec ' s use .
FR 1329/XR08264 .
