GEOSYNTEC CONSULTANTS
Mr. Michael L. Frey
9 April 2003
Page 6
The budget estimate for this fieldwork task assumes one person in the field for one 12-
hour day to complete the soil sampling.
Task 1.5. Reporting
The results of the expanded off-site assessment will be summarized in a letter report
that will include well construction details , applicable field notes and observations,
lithologic logs, groundwater sampling logs, maps, and analytical results . The analytical
results will also be used in preparing the RAP .
Preparation of Biennial Reports
Task 2. Biennial Reporting — Closed Landfill Sites
GeoSyntec will prepare Monitoring Plan Implementation Schedule (MPIS) biennial
technical reports for the Wabasso , Oslo, South Winter Beach, and Roseland Landfills (total
of four individual reports) . The technical reports will summarize and interpret the water
quality data and water level measurements collected by Indian River County and/or Test
America Laboratory for the past four sampling events . The technical reports for each of
the four sites will contain, at a minimum, the following :
• tabular and graphical displays of any data which shows that a monitoring parameter
has been detected, including hydrographs for all monitoring wells ;
• trend analyses of any monitoring parameters detected;
• comparisons among shallow, middle, and deep zone wells ;
• comparison between upgradient and downgradient wells ;
• correlation between related field parameters such as total dissolved solids and
specific conductance;
• discussion of erratic and/or poorly correlated data;
• an interpretation of the groundwater contour maps , including an evaluation of
groundwater flow rates ;
XR03035/R030082 .DOC
G.
RECYCLED AND RECYCLABLE  r
