As with all medical facilities, <br /> confidentiality is observed throughout. * Storage space <br /> for TLC paperwork, manuals and references in <br /> respective Labor and Delivery areas . * Positive <br /> promotion of TLC program to new mothers by all <br /> hospital staff. * Comfortable communication between <br /> medical providers and TLC staff. All these services <br /> are provided in-kind, with no administrative fee. <br /> IRC Library — Born to Read Provides two books to newborn families that are given <br /> Program to the family of the newborn by the Stork Club . The <br /> TLC staff provides evaluation two months after birth by <br /> asking the mother if they have read the books to their <br /> children, with a follow-up of emphasizing the <br /> importance of reading to their infant towards enhancing <br /> brain development. <br /> Visiting Nurses Association of the * Provides home visitation for mothers of newborns <br /> Treasure Coast experiencing breastfeeding difficulties or in need of <br /> greater breastfeeding education.
