Ed Schmucker, County Engineer, reported that he had written
<br />the Railroad'Company and asked .permission to use their right-of-way for
<br />a road on tha West side of the railway tracks in Gifford and after consi-
<br />derable paper work, they refused to do it. The Chairman instructed him
<br />to ask Lundy, the head of the move, to get the right-of-way, then the
<br />county would make the road..
<br />The County Engineer stated that Mr. Davidson and the Inlet
<br />Commission are having a meeting here on January 25 and that all Commis-
<br />sioners are invited to attend.
<br />The County Engineer reported that he had a request for a
<br />cross over On the new U. S. 1 at wabasso. The County Engineer was re-
<br />quested to write to the State Road Department and find out their policy
<br />on things of this nature.
