7.O1A. Related Work at Site. Owner may perform other work related to the Project at the Site with <br />Owner's employees, or pursuant to direct contracts with others. If such other work is not noted in the <br />Contract Documents, then written notice thereof will be given by Owner to Contractor prior to <br />ARTICLE 8 OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />SC -8.02 Delete paragraph 8.02 of the General Conditions in its entirety and replace with the following: <br />If Owner terminates the employment of Engineer, Owner may appoint another engineer whose status under <br />the Contract Documents shall be that of the former Engineer. <br />SC -8.04 Delete paragraph 8.04 of the General Conditions in its entirety and replace with the following: <br />Payments under this contract are governed by the Local Government Prompt Payment Act, Florida Statutes <br />section 218.70 et. seq., <br />SC -8.06 <br />Delete paragraph 8.06 of the General Conditions in its entirety. <br />SC -8.11 <br />Delete paragraph 8.11 of the General Conditions in its entirety. <br />ARTICLE 9 - ENGINEER'S STATUS DURING CONSTRUCTION <br />SC-9.O1A. Delete paragraph 9.O1A. in its entirety and replace with the following: <br />The OWNER shall designate the OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVES during the construction period. The <br />duties and responsibilities and the limitations of authority of the ENGINEER as one of the OWNER'S <br />REPRESENTATIVES during construction are set forth in Articles 1 through 17 of these General <br />Conditions and shall not be extended without written consent of the Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />SC -9.02A. Delete the first sentence of paragraph 9.02A. of the General Conditions in its entirety and <br />replace with the following: <br />A. Engineer will make visits to the Site at intervals appropriate to the various stages of construction as <br />Engineer deems necessary in order to observe as an experienced and qualified Engineer the progress that <br />has been made and the quality -of the various aspects of Contractor's executed Work. <br />SC -9.03A <br />Add the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph 9.03A of the General Conditions which is <br />to read as follows: <br />044572017 <br />00800-10 <br />
