relocations shall be included in the bid for the project and shall not result in any additional <br />cost to the Owner. <br />1.04 GREASE, OIL AND FUEL <br />A. All grease, oil, and fuel required for testing of equipment shall be furnished with the <br />respective equipment. The Owner shall be fumished with a year's supply of all required <br />lubricants including grease and oil of type recommended by the manufacturer with each <br />item of equipment supplied under Divisions 11, 14, 15, 16, and 17. <br />1.05 TOOLS <br />A. Any special tools (including grease guns or other lubricating devices) which may be <br />necessary for the adjustment, operation and maintenance of any equipment shall be <br />furnished with the respective equipment. <br />B. Tools shall be famished in heavy steel tool boxes complete with lock and duplicate keys. <br />1.06 POWER SUPPLY <br />A. Unless otherwise specified, all motors % Hp and larger shall be designed for a power <br />supply of 460 Volts, 3 Phase, 60 Hz, and all motors %3 Hp and smaller shall be designed <br />for a power supply of 120 Volts, single phase, 60 Hz. <br />1.07 POWER FACTOR CORRECTION CAPACITORS <br />A. All single and multi speed three phase induction motors 5 Hp and larger shall be furnished <br />with factory provided power factor correction capacitors. <br />Be Capacitors shall be sized by the manufacturers such that over voltage due to self excitation <br />will be prevented and transient torques limited to normal values. Full load power factor <br />shall be corrected to not less than 0.95 where such correction will not violate the <br />provisions of NEC Article 460. <br />C. Capacitor enclosures shall be compatible with those specified for their respective motors. <br />D. Capacitors shall be dry or oil insulated with integral fuse protection and discharge resistor. <br />The insulating medium -shall be non-flammable and meet U.S. Environmental Protection <br />Agency Standards, <br />E. Capacitors shall be installed under Division 16, <br />1.08 ARCHITECTURAL COATINGS <br />A Maintain coordination among all Sections (windows, window walls, louvers, doors and <br />frames, etc.) requiring PGVF, PVC or anodic coatings. All coatings shall match to the <br />satisfaction of the Engineer with regard to color and texture.
