6 . Owner (two copies) <br /> B . Instruct recipients to report promptly to the Contractor, in writing, any problems <br /> anticipated by the projections shown in the schedule . <br /> PART2 - PRODUCTS <br /> Not Applicable <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> 3 .01 RESPONSIBILITY FOR SCHEDULE COMPLIANCE <br /> A. The Contractor agrees that whenever it becomes apparent from the current monthly <br /> schedule that delays to the critical path have resulted, and hence, that the contract <br /> completion date will not be met or when so directed by the Owner, he will take some or <br /> all of the following actions at no additional cost to the Owner, submitting to the Owner <br /> for approval , a written statement of the steps he intends to take to remove or arrest the <br /> delay to the critical path in the approved schedule . <br /> I 1 . Increased construction manpower in such quantities and crafts as will <br /> substantially eliminate, in the judgment of the Owner ' s representative, the <br /> backlog of Work. <br /> 2 . Increase the number of working hours per shift, shifts per working days per <br /> week, the amount of construction equipment, or any combination of the <br /> foregoing, sufficiently to substantially eliminate, in the judgment of the Owner' s <br /> ffi <br /> representative, the backlog of work. <br /> I 3 . Reschedule activities to achieve maximum practical concurrency of <br /> accomplishment of activities, and comply with the revised schedule. <br /> 4 . Costs incurred by the Owner arising from such lengthening of hours, including <br /> furnishing of Inspectors, shall be the Contractor' s responsibility and shall be <br /> deducted from monies due him. Failure of the Contractor to comply with the <br /> requirements of the Owner ' s representative may be grounds for determination by <br /> the Owner that the Contractor is not proceeding at such rates as will insure <br /> completion within the specified time and may result in. the termination of the <br /> right of the Contractor to continue the Work. <br /> I 3 .02 ADJUSTMENT OF CONTRACT SCHEDULE AND COMPLETION TIlAE <br /> l <br /> A. If the Contractor desires to make changes in his method of operating which affect the <br /> approved schedule, he shall notify the Owner in writing stating what changes are <br /> t proposed and the reason for the change. If the Owner approves these changes, the <br /> Contractor shall revise and submit for approval, without additional cost to the Owner, all <br /> of the affected portion of the schedule. The schedule shall be adjusted by the Contractor <br /> only after prior approval of his proposed changes by the Owner. <br /> f B . Adjustments may consist of changing portions of the activity sequence and/or activity <br /> durations, division of approved activities, or other adjustments as may be approved by the <br /> Owner. The addition of extraneous, non-working activities and/or activities which add <br /> 1 unapproved restraints to the schedule shall not be approved. <br /> 044572017 <br /> 01311 -3 <br />
