C . Furnish five (5 ) identical sets of operation and maintenance manuals when the VFD is delivered <br /> for the VFD. Each set shall consist of one ( 1 ) or more volumes, each of which shall be bound in <br /> a standard size, 3 -ring, loose-leaf, vinyl plastic hard cover binder, with pockets, suitable for <br /> bookshelf storage . Binder ring size shall not exceed 2 .5 inches . <br /> 1 . O&M manuals shall include operating and maintenance instructions as applicable, for each <br /> type of VFD as follows : <br /> a . Complete operating instructions , including location of controls , special tools , or other <br /> equipment required , related instrumentation , and other equipment needed for <br /> operation . <br /> b . Preventative maintenance procedures and schedules . <br /> C . Bill of Materials and parts lists , by generic title and identification number, complete <br /> with exploded views of each assembly. <br /> d . Disassembly and reassembly instructions . <br /> e . Recommended troubleshooting and start-up procedures . <br /> f. Name and location of nearest supplier/service representative and spare parts <br /> warehouse . <br /> 1 .03 TOOLS , SUPPLIES AND SPARE PARTS <br /> A. Parts shall be completely identified with a numerical system to facilitate parts inventory, control <br /> and stocking. Each part shall be properly identified by a separate number, and those parts which <br /> are identical for more than one size unit shall have the same number. The following shall be <br /> supplied for each size of drive: <br /> L One ( 1 ) set of all special tools, wrenches and non-standard test equipment required to <br /> disassemble, test, repair and adjust the equipment shall be provided. <br /> 2 . One ( 1 ) complete set of Manufacturer recommended spare parts. Spare parts shall include, <br /> as a minimum, all replaceable circuit boards, fuses, power semiconductors, power <br /> transistors, indicator lamps and appurtenances. <br /> Additional items shall be supplied as recommended by the equipment Manufacturer or as <br /> described elsewhere in the Specifications . <br /> 1 .04 WARRANTY <br /> A. All equipment furnished under this Section shall be guaranteed by the Manufacturer against <br /> defects of workmanship and materials for a period of two (2) years from date of substantial <br /> completion of the project.
